femLENS is a volunteer-run non-profit association committed to developing and including women’s voices into storytelling and the cultural representation of women and their communities in the world.

femLENS seeks a volunteer Partnership Coordinator to support our mission by developing our fundraising operations. The Partnership Coordinator will build a Fundraising Team and work in concert with other volunteers and staff in order to increase femLENS’s financial sustainability through donor cultivation and retention, business partnerships and events.

Job Type: VOLUNTEER. Est. 5-10 hours per week commitment.

The Partnership Coordinator will:
• Support the femLENS team in creating and implementing an organisational development plan with goals, strategies and action steps to secure funding
• Develop and manage donor cultivation
• Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward individual, business and foundation partners
• Build up the donor database
• Work with staff to recruit, train, organise and inspire volunteers for fundraising activities and facilitate fundraising across multiple volunteer-led teams

Required skills:
• Strong understanding of women’s rights and social justice issues
• Relationship building
• Comfortable making cold calls and soliciting financial support from potential donors
• Detail-oriented
• Resourceful, flexible and self-motivated
• Positive, creative attitude; strong interpersonal skills and high level of professionalism
• Ability to work efficiently and meet defined deadlines

Experience/Qualifications:
• Fundraising and development experience a must; equivalent course/educational experience acceptable
• Demonstrated dedication to managing growth and expansion of the organisation’s long-term development activities
• Genuine interest in cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors
