Welens, a project co-funded by EU (2023-2025), is focused on tackling gender-based violence and sexual exploitation through comprehensive educational modules and impactful communication campaigns. Building on the success of ACT! Capacity building, Welens involves partners from IT, AR, FR, MX, GY, EE, collaborating to deepen our understanding and response to these critical issues.
Our goal is to deepen understanding of the global interdependencies behind GBV and sexual exploitation. Through interdisciplinary educational modules that will be created during the project and strategic partnerships, we aim to empower educators and organisations worldwide. By fostering cross-border cooperation, we seek to strengthen the collective response to these issues.
Through storytelling and gender-sensitive communication, we strive to amplify voices of vulnerable women and support their journeys towards healing and empowerment. Our efforts extend beyond borders, aiming to raise awareness and foster critical dialogue on the complexities of GBV.
